Once again someone went into my case not even one month after winning my last appeal where they claimed I was overpaid and demanding payment. I won the appeal and ended up getting back paid for mistakes made by them for months. They owed me over $1000 in benefits I didn't even know I was supposed to get. Now one month later someone again went into my case randomly and now they have stopped my benefits, issued benefits for more than i was getting and claim I owe them money again all in the same month. Filing my third appeal. BTW... they are in a class action lawsuit currently for exactly what they are doing to me.

The new office is very clean and it is way different than the other office because their doors for the food stamp office is on the opposite side then it was the old building but other than that they have always been friendly and courteous

They are horrible in Athens you go in fill an application they tell you to wait by your phone and they never call this has happened to us twice now even had our food stamps stopped because of it when you call them they never answer the phone leave a message they never get back to you when you go in there you never hear the phones ringing but yet they're all sitting in there yacking amongst each other not very many people waiting for help so I don't understand what the problem is we're definitely not in the pandemic anymore so what's the problem with doing your job and getting people the help they need on a timely manner with no reoccurring problems would be nice if you complain or file a formal complaint we're not sure it's really checked out because it's like they're policing themselves n

I wish I would express in words how thankful I am for Monroe county dcs and case worker Danielle March! She went above and beyond to do her job! She truly cares about these kids and wants what’s best for them and I was falsely accused and she took the time to investigate every single accusation and did not stop until she has the exact facts and proof!

I've always had my questions answered and staff have always been pleasant. No one every wants to need their services and I've never felt uncomfortable calling them for information. Please keep in mind that as a government agency they are overworked and underpaid. Especially now in the middle of a pandemic. I've never had a problem with anyone in this office.
