NO ONE WEARS GLOVES IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT. FOOD SAFETY CERT WHERE? Quite literally saw a man touch 7 diff thing and hen he was handling my food. Lord bless me. Asked for a dog with grilled onions and instead I got kraut with mysterious red sauce. No it was not ketchup… Went back- they slapped onions on- didn’t even bother giving me a new dog. There was weird meat chunks also in the bun. Same dog soaked in mysterious sauce, wet bun and comically big “grilled” onions that were hard as a carrot. Idk how they are still open and generating income. It truly is cafeteria food reheated. Wanted to support a local business and came out with getting weird stares from the cashier…. Rather buy an overpriced dog at Five Guys with actual grilled onions 😭😭 not this bs Cheese steak is dry as hell.

Came here with my in laws today. I love this cute little place to eat. I always get the corndogs as they are sweet, light, and delicious and their soups. The soups are my favorite. My in laws got a regular hot dog and lemonade. They really enjoyed both. I shared my fries and they were perfectly made. A bit crunchy but smooth. Perfect amount of salt. I got the mozzarella sticks today and they were so good. Not greasy and cheese pull was great. I also like their Icecream as well. It’s a hidden gem it is also very reasonable price! Came back on a busy summer day. I thought we’d have to wait like 20 minutes since it was so busy but NOPE!! We had our food within 5 minutes despite the line! As always service was great and fast. The food was delicious as usual!

No doubt, a downtown Denville favorite that is always a great spot to grab some lunch or dinner. Dogs are my usuall go to meal but that does not stop me from ordering other menu items as well. Service is always friendly and quick despite the crowds that will often build. One thing I like is they do have veggie burgers available for my daughter who is a vegetarian. This always raises the bar when reviewing restuarnts in that I can bring her and she can order a meal and just not snack of fries. Denvilee dogs closes during the winter so I always tend to visit more prior to them closing down and of course the obligatory visits when they open back up. I don't think I have ever had a bad experience or food in all my visits. Definitely a family friendly place that whenever I seem to go

Stopped into Denville Dog and Grill and tried out a few dogs. Got one with red onions and mustard and I also got the "Denville Dog" which had Chili, Cheese sauce, Sauerkraut, Diced Onion, and relish. Figured since they had a branded dog that it would be their best item and I should try that out. The woman who helped me at the counter was very friendly and she showed me to the restroom in what was an otherwise closed interior to the business (ample seating outside though). The buns for the dogs were generic which is typically expected but they were not steamed toasted and had that "just beginning to stale" kind of feel to them. That doesn't really usually bother me much honestly, but worth mentioning. The red onions had a flavor similar to the jarred Sabrett's onions but they were not

It’s a old style hot dog and burger spot. Nice outdoor seating. Quick service. Enjoyed the food. The homemade ice cream was delicious. Everything is reasonably priced. Stop by for a quick bite!
