Cleopatra Sweets

We met two of the employees (perhaps brothers) at Dessertopia in Morristown today, and I’m so glad we bought some of their sweets because we will DEFINITELY be visiting their storefront. The employees were extremely kind and informative, and the desserts were unbelievable. We bought their last Mango Knafeh cup and some of their pastries including two types of baklava. Everything we got was clearly homemade and delicious! Highly recommend buying from this lovely business. We will be back!

We tried their baklava, basbousa, and tres leches, and every single item was absolutely delicious. The baklava was perfectly crisp and layered with just the right amount of sweetness, the basbousa was soft, moist, and full of authentic Middle Eastern flavor, and the tres leches was light, creamy, and melt-in-your-mouth good — a delightful twist among all the traditional sweets! The ambience was warm and inviting, and the staff were super friendly and helpful, taking time to explain the different options. Will definitely visit there to try some other items.

I was living in Alexandria Egypt for five years and I just moved back to the states. This was a little taste of home for me. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the Kunafa and basbousa? Out of this world! Absolutely amazing.

On my journey of religiously avoiding chain bakeries and supporting small businesses, Egyptian owned, Cleopatra Sweets came up in my search. I dropped by for some sweets for a loved one's birthday and I can't wait to visit again! It wasn't very busy and I got the chance to converse with the owner and what a sweet man! He radiates his passion for what he does and treats you like a member of his family. Such a wide variety of pastries, cookies, cakes and more. He was sampling delicious hibiscus tea and has a canning machine that cans the tea up just like it's in a soda can. So cool! Give this bakery a visit, you're supporting a lovely and caring small business!

Dubai chocolate cheesecake and pistachio coffee were delicious. Highly recommend. Owner was very friendly too
