Denny's Restaurant

We wanted to try it but we will not be back. Food just wasn’t right. Killed my appetite. Hash browns were overcooked and somewhat burnt. I asked our waiter if this is how they usually serve them and he said no. He offered to have them remake them but at this point that would be a no.

I come every Sunday, and Aunty K always treats me like family here. She brings the spirit of Aloha that’s rare in other Denny’s Restaurants on the island. The food is great. The service is above most, and the atmosphere is laidback and peaceful. I will continue to come here for mu morning Sunday Breakfast.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pumpkin pecan pancakes were straight fire—so onolicious! My daughter’s birthday cake pancakes were bomb too. Serving sizes were just right, and I love that in Hawai‘i we can always choose rice as an option—only on the island haha. Service was excellent—no wait, peaceful setting, and our sweet waiter kept our waters topped off the whole time. My aunt and I were able to talk story for hours with no rush, and we truly felt at home and well taken care of. Much mahalos to the Kunia Denny’s team for a wonderful experience!

11/02/2025. Went for brekky. Got seated right away. Place seems clean and nice. Server gave us our menu. Waited for about 10 min for our order to be taken. Got me the lumberjack slam. With Scrabble eggs. NEVER ORDER SCRAMBLE EGGS. They use the fake eggs from the carton. Ham had a bitter taste. Pancakes was only thing good. Server ck on us 1 time for the duration we was there. The place really sucks.

Went here one time to try their food out of curiosity cos we love trying new restaurants or local food store. From their menu pictures of the food looks good… so we tried the signature slams. We were expecting what it looked like from their menu. But we got our food on 2 separate plates each meal. Bacon was not crispy, sausage links were tough/hard or should we say over cooked, pancakes were very dry and crumbling, potato hash were not fully cooked, french toast was kinda oh-kay. Although their service was good and there is no long wait at that time.
