Delmont Public Library

For a small town, this library is SO wonderful. It's really the best for the kids as there is a huge children's area and the art on the wall is so bright and colorful. I love taking my kids to spend a couple hours playing at the library. We are so lucky to have such a beautiful library in our small town! Update: we have been visiting this library for a couple years now and honestly feel like the community has no clue what an amazing resource this place is. Check their event calendar on their website- they have the most amazing programming for kids. An Exceptional Community Resource I’m always looking for meaningful, enriching spaces for my children—and Delmont Library exceeded every expectation. We visited multiple times throughout the summer, and each visit reflected the library’s strong commitment to learning and community engagement. Programs like the Monarch Butterfly Program were particularly memorable. The staff was consistently welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. The children’s section is well-designed—inviting, organized, and equipped to support curiosity across a wide range of ages. (We especially loved the pre-packed bookbags!) This is such a wonderful little library. They have some toys to play with (veggie stand, Legos, etc), my son loves the Pokemon club they do once a month, and the librarians are all so friendly and helpful in suggesting books. The summer reading program is also a big hit with my kids!

Delmont Library has the most wonderful staff. Always willing to stop and help any one who comes in. Very friendly and always courteous. They also have great programs for all ages especially their summer reading for kids. This year they’re expanding their outdoor learning center. The yearly butterfly release will have a beautiful area for everyone to enjoy.

If you are local and haven't visited this library, you need to! I have two toddlers and they love coming here. The children's area of the library has several educational toys, puzzles and even a super market area for the children to play. My children's favorite part is the fairy garden. They played upon arrival then wanted to play again after checking out our library books 😊
