Del Taco

Took a lunch break and stopped here today. I ordered on the app. It was pretty easy, I just wish they had an option for apple pay, you do have to add a card for purchase. I chose drive thru for pick up. It was pretty simple as well. The drive thru employee was pleasant. I ordered the carne asada meal & surprisingly they sell ice coffee, so I was pleased with my food. The fries were hot & a large size. I noticed the prices are pretty affordable. The portions are pretty good. The tortilla & cilantro, everything tasted pretty fresh. I loved the taste of the coffee. I ate in my car & then ordered another coffee and did pick up inside.

I am so happy to have a Del Taco nearby! The management and staff are doing an amazing job. It just opened so lots of excitement and long lines, however, it only took 30 minutes at lunchtime to go through the drive through. The food is ok compared to California but I am sure it’s because they just opened. The biggest surprise was portion sizes. I have never seen a combo burrito that could fit in the palm of my hand. I hope that’s something they consider adjusting. I will be back for sure!

The drive thru staff were professional, friendly and courteous. However, the fried fish, in the fish tacos, was not freshly prepared, even for the wait. Plus, the breading tasted like it was prepared with industrial strength salt… 🤮.

Haven't had Del Taco since I lived in CA, about 9 years ago. Did not disappoint! It was busy but the food still came out quickly. Food was fresh, great portion sizes and tastes good.

UPDATE: My children were asking to go back again and so we got take out on Saturday. We first tried to order online. Set up an awards account but online orders were NOT an option. Nor could I receive credit for my previous order due to the store information not bringing on the receipt. Not a big deal, I'm sure they'll have that fixed soon? My issue was that someone came up and ordered our food on the kiosk for us and got it ALL wrong. So $60 of our order only to get home and half the order missing or incorrectly put into the system. Either let me order or have a register to take it for me. There wpuld be a question about who was at fault if they hadn't taken over. We knew more about the menu than the worker.
