Del Ponte's Coal Fired Pizza

I love all three of Del Ponte’s storefronts. I can’t speak to the pizza here but the paninis are super solid. I got a Balsamic Chicken Panini with the salad on the side. For the price, it’s a very large sandwich and the salad is a bit more than the typical house or garden salad (has some fresh mozzarella balls and a side of balsamic, along with the usual stuff). Highly recommend as a lunch takeout spot. I’d really like to try their pizza and update this review with thoughts and pictures of that.

Del Ponte’s is hands down my favorite pizzeria in New Jersey. They’re thin; crispy pies are absolutely delicious. Their pies already come well done, but you can ask the server to make it extra well done, which we did and it was even better than last time. Not to mention their Caesar salad (with grilled chicken on the side) was one of the best salads I’ve ever had. Don’t miss this gem when you’re in the Bradley Beach area.

My family and I were there last sunday for an early lunch celebrating our Aunts bday. Everything was absolutely delicious. The eggplant rice balls were outstanding. The Gnocchi was cooked perfectly and I was so pleasantly surprised to see they had it as a special. Im not sure if they keep it on the menu but I sure hope so. Coming from a person who has worked in customer service and restaurants my entire life, I must add that our server Grace was the absolute best!!!!!!! Grace was so incredibly sweet and attentive. Her skills are top notch and she helped make our lunching experience even better. Good service really matters and she hit the mark. Thanks again Grace 😁

We came to this restaurant with some close friends and our experience was phenomenal. The service was great, the server was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and the prices were good. We love the antipasto salad, Margherita pizza and honey, bacon pizza. We were a decent size with kids and they were able to accommodate us nicely. We went on a weekday and parking was easy to find, during the weekend this might be a little more challenging.

We spent July 4th weekend on the shore and decided to get pizza to top off our evening. The place was fairly busy, but luckily, we got seated right away. I'm big on service, and it was top notch from the server to the bussers. We ordered 4 different types of pizza, margarita, buffalo, 4 cheese, and pepperoni. The margarita was our least favorite, which is also their plain pizza, btw. All the others were fairly good. However, they weren't filling. A pie was anywhere from $20 up. Our 4 pie and drinks for everyone averaged $125. They have a variety of food options, but we really went for the pizza. There was also this really cool old-school white car at the front of the restaurant. I'm not sure if it's the restaraunts staple but worth a photo. It gave off 80s Greece vibes.
