Del Cielo Tamales Restaurant

I have tried many different vegan Mexican food and this is one of the authentic delicious ones. Their region of Mexico is Sinaloa. The owner was very nice and friendly. They work hard to provide vegan menu and vegan breakfast buffet to serve Tucson vegan community. We are visiting so the dishes that we can try in a short time are limited. We went for breakfast one day and vegan breakfast buffet the next day. Both we had excellent culinary experiences. Their tamales are special and called green corn tamales. They are delicious. The breakfast buffet includes about 9-10 items and pancakes and tamales are included. Their food is delicious and authentic. Service is excellent’!

Excellent, attentive service from start to finish. The staff really pays attention to detail and makes sure you’re taken care of without being overbearing. The food presentation is spot on. Everything comes out looking fresh and carefully plated. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. As for the taste, everything I tried was packed with flavor. Authentic, balanced, and clearly made with care. You can tell they use quality ingredients and traditional methods. And the Café de Olla was incredible. Smooth, rich, and perfectly spiced. Honestly, one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Del Cielo Tamales is the kind of spot you walk out of already planning your next visit.

The vegan brunch buffet was incredibly delicious, wholesome and filling. As you can see I ate 3 plates of food and loved every bite. The handmade corn tortillas were so fresh, and those pancakes were the best I've ever had in my life! I loved the Mesoamerican plates and vibe. I wish I lived closer. Also I love this mural, you just gotta poke around!

Great place for vegan and gluten free food in Tucson. The service is friendly and we received generous portions on both the vegan breakfast bowl and the chicken enchiladas. Will definitely be back.

WOW what a treasure and yummy place. A staff told us a bit about how they love to support the local community because the community has embraced and supported them. Great vibes. A ton of food for vegan buffet. Hot and fresh. The pancakes and chocolate coffee and chorizo ( vegan) dish were faves. But all of it was absolutely delicious. Homemade tortillas out of this world. Will be back soon.
