Decorah Public Library

My daughters and I visited the library yesterday and I was in awe of how beautiful it is, and how many things there were for my toddlers to do! The person at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend visiting!!

Love our public library and all of the amazing services they offer. Not only were they an invaluable resource through the pandemic, but are now offering full services again in a beautifully updated space. Staff always have helpful book suggestions and ideas - such a great resource for Decorah and the area.

Back on the 70, I checked out wizard of Oz books, printed on.the 1900s...best people, fantastic service and the best place for kids period...everyone is treated with respect front 2-105...updated, modern but with fantastic old building, ...don't look unless your prepared to think about moving to decorah

Always Peaceful when I stopped in to check out or return books. 📚 The staff are so kind and thoughtful! I was reading a trilogy and instead of rechecking out a book they had a set going into a donation pile so they gave me the trilogy to have. I am the happiest 🤓 📖 ever, thank you. 😇

So fortunate to have a library of this caliber in Decorah. The staff works to create engaging and diverse programs for a variety of audiences. Recent renovations have made the space even more inviting. I am happy to have such a quality resource in our community.
