Customer Reviews
Expensive to get in. No water slide opened. Life guards are strict as can be. If your kid is on swim team and wants to practice an adult has to be in the lane the whole time but it's OK for little kids to jump off diving boards in the deep end. Doesnt make since. Also make sure you use the ladder to get out of the pool or the whistle will get blown at you. No double jumping on diving board. You will get yelled at. No life jackets or floaties for the little ones. Throwing toys are allowed even when they hit other people on the other side of pool (very odd). Not very family friendly for fun time. Been there plenty of times and going down hill in my opinion. There's funner pools to visit that are less strict.
I live in NC and this pool oddly beats our pools by a landslide. It's an amazing pool setup wise, the lifeguards actually do their jobs and pay close attention which you don't always see at other pools. We love this pool and can't give it enough stars. It is a must for us when visiting family in Decorah.
It is a good place to go for a swim
one star deducted because it isn’t very young-kid friendly: no floaties or life jackets are allowed, and there’s only one kiddy slide. the second star is lost due to the fact my infant daughter’s father was charged full admission to have his feet in the water for 5 minutes on his lunch break so he could watch her in the pool for the first time (that’s more personal). otherwise it’s great!
Overcharged on there website it said $6 per adult, 3 and under free, we had 2 adults and a 12 month old and got charged $18, staff isn’t nice either, not very infant friendly don’t allow floaties or anything, won’t be returning.
