Davidson County Public Library

Hands down the best library for me is my local Denton Library the staff is always so wonderful and very helpful and always listens to my requests an follows through. From checking out books, to faxing important papers, to checking out movies, to planning something fun like Bingo, they are a wonderful place to visit and enjoy. I raised my own daughters taking them to the library to me now as a grandma still enjoying my local library and the many things they offer to our community.

They are so friendly and welcoming! The conversations are always delightful & a highlight of my day. I actually look forward to them if there aren’t too many other people there browsing around or needing help with something. They are all very knowledgeable and have taught me several things. They know I’m new to the area. I have received personal recommendations for an honest local mechanic. I know that I can return books to other libraries in the area. I’ve learned that the NC Library System is connected across the state. If they find out that they don’t carry a book that you’re looking for, they have the ability to search a database. If they see it in the inventory of another library anywhere within the state, they can get it for you via a loaner program. How cool is that?! They have some

Love the ladies at this library! It was our first time there, and they helped us with books and signed us up for summer reading programs. They were truly wonderful ladies.

This is such a wonderful resource in our small town. It is a wonderful facility with very friendly staff! They host many community activities. I am so thankful for the Denton Library!
