David's Lopez Barbecue

I'm a BBQ snob after some years in Texas and this is damn good BBQ. The spare ribs had the meat falling off the bone and the vinegar slaw is perfection. The view while you wait is picturesque too. Never a bad meal from David's.

Absolutely delicious!! David and his crew are such hard workers and the sweetest people! Personally my favorite thing on the menu is the chicken sandwich with the potato salad but I’ve tried many things on the menu and have liked them all!! I’m so so grateful we have David’s Barbecue here on the island <3 Small note about parking: it can be a little tedious at times because the parking is on a slope and backs up against a somewhat busy road. There is library overflow parking just as you turn into town (northwest of David’s Barbecue) which is a lot easier to navigate if you’re feeling hesitant about parking right out front. The bbq is so worth it!!

Really nice spot with friendly service and pleasant outdoor sitting area with a view. Fresh ingredients and prepared with care, but the flavors were a bit flat across the board. Chicken was our favorite protein.

David not only makes a delicious BBQ but he has the kindest and generous spirit! His food cart is right outside of town and is a great spot to grab food and head to a picnic. Highly recommend making this a stop while on the island

Delicious! My two favorites are the pulled pork and the cajun sausage. The potato salad side is the best potato salad I've ever had!
