Davanni's Pizza & Hot Hoagies

Absolutely amazing experience great food and great service. We had to wait just an extra couple minutes since they were busy and they offered us a free drink. Great spot

Update: 5/1/24 Things are now consistently a hit or a miss at this Davannis, which isn't consistent at all. I used to order AT LEAST once a week because they are 2 miles away from my house and I used to have good experiences every time, so I dont know if they hired a bunch of new people all of a sudden at once but it is now a roll of the dice that the pizza will show up alright or there will be something seriously wrong with your pizza. Pictured at the way bottom is how my pizza showed up with the cheese slid off. I'm not sure if I will order ever again because if I do it will be like me rolling the dice for a 50/50 chance my order won't be messed up LITTERALLY. Update: (2/4/24) Things got better after the last email but tonight Feb 4 I had a very mangled pizza (pictured 4th to last) show

I ordered the lasagna, had lunch with some work buds. They got "The traditional" hoagie, both liked and said it brought back memories from days past. I had the lasagna and it did not hit. Noodles were very mushy for me. I wanted to like it so bad , as Divanni's is an institution to casual fast food here in Minneapolis. But I could not recommend, had noodles been al-dente. My tune woulda changed. I love that Divanni's was there when my kids grew up and it was our place. But maybe as I age I'm expecting more.

Great place. Very personable. Customer service was awesome and the young lady that helped us was awesome! Food was great and just a cool little spot..

The front line staff had no idea that a pop and chip combo was listed on the in-store menu. Apparently more thorough training is needed
