Date Restaurant

So I was seated immediately. The hostess and waiters were really quick and nice. The cooks were often not at the omelet counter, so people often waited a few minutes. The food was decent. The waffles and French toast were not too good, dry and overseasoned. The rest was good though. For a quick large meal, it was worth it.

Terrible value. The included breakfast with staying at the hotel was below the bare minimum. Stale bagels that were as hard as rocks. The single 4 slice toaster didnt work and they had only one option for cereal at 9am. The bacon, eggs, potatoes and waffles all required an additional $10 per person upgrade with the included breakfast for being a Marriott member. This all should have been included with the continental breakfast yet the DATE Restaurant upcharges guests $10 per person for basic breakfast options that are included in the continental breakfast at every other Marriott hotel I have stayed at. I would recommend looking at the dozens of other breakfast options in downtown Palm Springs before coming here to eat.

The breakfast is pretty nice. I like the omelette that I can choose the ingredients. And the staff at the front desk is nice and friendly.

Quick, easy, tasty and polite. I wish the rest of the hotel here was as good as this place is.

Beautiful venue. Food and service were fair. The view of the pool and mountains was spectacular. Notice the inconsistent cy of the revirees here. I ordered the Korean Cole slaw.... Excellent presentation. Beef slices were tough. Also ordered a burger. Be careful here... The sauce was so spicy I couldn't eat it. Took over 30 min to get another (cold ) burger. I really wanted to at least like the food because the venue is so beautiful and so convenient. The restaurant received a "did not meet standards" rating from local health authorities.
