Darrell's Diner

My mothers sausage was burnt to oblivion so she didn’t eat that. My toast was burnt and I didn’t receive it until after I finished my meal, I got an order for my husband and he couldn’t eat his toast because it was so burnt. Whoever is cooking there is burning everything. The waitress didn’t even come back until the meal was over and so we couldn’t say anything and when we finally did it was too late. Not going back for a while. We keep giving this place a try and it’s just consistently bad now. I understand a little burnt but everything was charred black. How could you look at that and think someone would eat that? See pics posted.

Great diner with great food and friendly service. We eat at this Darrell’s all the time and the wait staff (Bree and Danyel) are always very nice and offer great service! The cooks Sean and Gene are always very nice and our food is always cooked to perfection. I highly recommend stopping in and getting a bite to eat and meeting the staff. 🤗

A busy diner serving the Village’s area. Good coffee and quick service are a hallmark of a diner like this. Prices are right in line with normal. Add a little southern charm and you feel very comfortable from the git go. The food was great. Served hot and fresh.

We really like Darrell's Diner in Wildwood, so we thought we'd try this location. The server was great. I had ham and eggs and fried potatoes. The potatoes were very good. I asked for my eggs with the whites done, I got the eggs, and the whites were mostly done but had a few runny areas. The ham was burnt black on the outside in some spots like it was dropped on a hot surface. I don't know why I had to eat with a cleaning spray bottle sitting next to me or why the trash bucket sat in the doorway in front of me? Not to appetizing eating while someone is scraping trash in the bucket. It is what it is. Judging from the reviews, many folks like this diner. Maybe I just came in on an off day? I will definitely go back to the Wildwood location, I won't be going back to this location.

First and foremost, it does not cost anything to say "Good afternoon, may I please take your order?" ,instead of what you having? Also the waitress with a nasty attitude, the washer looking out to us and making a negative movement with his head and with mad face. When I told her I did not want anything, she look at my like she want it to hit me for not wanting to eat here. My first and last visit to this place.
