Customer Reviews
My favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore (having tried quite a few). Have done takeaway plenty of times and dine in too. I recommend takeaway. Things I have tried: Paneer Lababdar: This is so, so good. Tastes amazing. If you want chicken version, they have Chicken Lababdar too. For chicken, we had ordered Darbar special chicken. For the breads, we had taken "Tokri" in which you get to choose any 3 breads. We took: Onion and black pepper kulcha: The one we all loved the most and gave ordered each and every time we have gone there.❤️❤️ Garlic naan Laccha paratha For appetizers we ordered: Aloo tikki chaat: the crispy potatoes and chickpea with chutneys. We loveee the proportion of chole in it. Yummm Pakora platter: Assortment of 4 types of the dry savory chickpea battered veggies.
Amazing experience every time my partner and I come. Attentive service, delicous food, and a homey atmosphere. Darbar has become a regular date spot. They even remembered him leaving his gloves at our table and brought them to us on our next visit!
Came in for lunch and had a nice time. The food is pretty good, but the service is what really makes the difference here. Our server was super attentive and offered great suggestions.
Darbar is a must for anyone who appreciates Indian food. The preparation of the classic dishes is next level. Vegetable pacoras were light with the perfect ratio of crispiness to tenderness. The Kadai Paneer had layers of interesting and pleasing flavors. Even the papadum and naan were amazing. Ambiance-wise the place is simple and slightly rustic. But what the rooms lack in sophistication they make up for in coziness with ambient lighting and soft music. Service was perfect.
Came here with a group of 5 on a random Tuesday night. The food was delicious and affordable. We ordered samosas and cucumber salad to share along with some garlic naan. I had the lamb tika which was really good. Overall a great experience and will definitely be back again.
