ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We ordered the following: Bola de yuca (1 cheese, 1berf): 10/10 I like the beef more, but cheese was just as good. Patacon carne (no pork):10/10 the best I’ve ever had. Packed with flavor, huge quantity a must try. Potato salad: 7/10 I’m not a fan of cold beets but was still good. Mofongo de camarones: 10/10 so creamy and flavorful, a lot of shrimp. A must try! Excellent customer service and atmosphere. A true hole in the wall. Will be returning.
Every time I come here the food is NEVER ready ! Never coming back to this location ever! Always a ten minute wait !
The food was really good, we ate two mofongos and one arepa. The service was amazing, this lady who served us was helpful, noble and with an amazing energy. The only inconvenience was that when we arrived 8:00 pm or so, they told us they were closing, (they closed on Saturday at 10:00 pm) so we could just order to go, that’s what we did and at the end our waitress called her boss to let us eat there because we drove 40 minutes to get there. Good food.
Found this restaurant on IG and thought I'd take a trip and give them a try since it's been a long time since I've had Dominican food. Finding parking was a bit difficult but if you don't mind the walk it shouldn't be a problem really. The atmosphere inside was very nice and welcoming, clean including the restroom, and everyone was very friendly. I had be dying to have a good fried fish for awhile and decided on having that with mangú and a Presidente beer. The fish was cooked perfectly, very juicy and flavorful. The mangú was absolutely a good a choice, it was soft and tasty with pickled onions on top to add to the flavor. I certainly will be visiting again for sure!
Ordered the tres golpes and Oreo tres leches. I’m from NYC so I had high expectations and they did not disappoint! The mangu needed some more salt but overall I would definitely take the trip back.
