It’s just a D’Angelo sandwich shop, but this location is actually exceptional. I always come here when in town and the staff is so friendly and consistent with how they make their sandwiches. Some eateries can vary wildly but they always deliver the same as you expect. And when dining in they even walk it to your table. It’s a simple gesture but one that goes very noticed and extremely appreciated. Love coming here. And it’s a New England staple. Number 9 and steak and cheeses and Thanksgiving sandwich are always winners.

I recently stopped by D'Angelo in Keene and ordered the Chicken Vermonter, and I have to say it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The combination of crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, and maple-flavored mayo took it to the next level. The blend of sweet and savory was spot on. The service was quick, and the staff was super friendly, making the entire experience enjoyable. The only downside is D'Angelo's had definitely become pretty pricey in recent years for a sub, chips and a drink. They got rid of the fountain drinks and now make you buy bottled drinks, which adds to the price.

Went in and ordered three sandwiches on a Friday night and figured it would take a while so went out and made a quick call and went in and they were ready! The cashier was pleasant and gave me a coupon for the next visit and the whole crew thanked me on my way out. They are really trying hard to do a great job. The last time I went there they only had two people and were struggling to keep up.

It’s always a pleasant surprise to spot a D’Angelo out in the wild, especially for someone like me—a Mainer now living in Vermont—where they’re few and far between. Back home, we only had one in the area, and I haven’t seen one in ages, so when I was making my way back from Massachusetts, stopped for gas, and caught sight of the sign, I knew what I had to do. It didn’t take long to convince myself I needed a #9 steak sub, and I headed right in. The staff were friendly and efficient, and my order was hot and ready in under ten minutes. The interior was clean and well-kept, and the whole experience felt like a throwback in the best way. By the time I got home an hour later, the sandwich was still warm and absolutely delicious. D’Angelo hasn’t lost its touch—and now that I know this locatio

So delicious. I don't know where all that flavor comes from, the grill or the ingredients or the care that goes into what they serve but it's incredibly tasty. I do miss the pokket... bring back the pita pocket. Other than that I have only goods things to say about D'Angelo Sandwiches. Some of the freshest and tastiest sandwiches come from this chain, have had same experience at all their locations I've been to. Even in Hartford airport. I've been going to D'Angelo since the 90s, it's been consistently the same, consistently flavorful and consistently Good for decades. Decades, please don't change. Well maybe change back.... Please bring back the pokket, that #9 is so good in the pita. It's delicious regardless, but I did love it in the pita
