Carriage Barn Bed & Breakfast

I stayed two nights at the Carriage Barn B&B. I really enjoyed myself. The guest area is nicely furnished, and very comfortable. A kitchenette is available for use. A nice continental breakfast is put out in the morning with very good coffee from Brewbakers Cafe on Emerald St. The grounds are lovely. Location is great. Could walk to town in 10 minutes but two minute drive. Joe the owner was very attentive. Check-in was easy. The other rooms were empty so he encouraged me to take a peek. They’re absolutely beautiful. I would stay in any one of the four rooms. I will come back again highly recommend. Keen is also a very nice medium size city with a great vibe !

My daughter and I stayed in the twin room when visiting colleges in the area. The room was clean & comfortable and was a great value as the chain hotels in the area were double the price. I thought I'd take a chance since we'd be getting in late and leaving early and I'm so glad I did! Joe was a very friendly host and there was a simple but good assortment of breakfast foods offered. I would not hesitate to stay here again. This was my daughter's first time in a bed & breakfast...she loved it!

Very nice BnB located walking distance from downtown Keene. The self check in was easy if you follow the texted instructions. We had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Joe during our continental breakfast. Very charming man who filled my wife in on some of the history of the original building. We hope to come back in the spring.

We enjoyed our one night stay here in Keene. Our room was cozy, and the atmosphere at this 1810 house was just perfect. We enjoyed talking with Joe, the owner, and learning a little about his house and establishment. Would highly recommend staying here.
