I first tried Dampf BBQ many years ago when they were still out at the fairgrounds, and I can honestly say it has remained the best and most consistent barbecue I’ve had… both in this state and across the country. I’ve traveled extensively during my military career, which has given me the chance to try some truly great barbecue spots nationwide. Even with all that experience, Dampf BBQ is still my number one. The meat is always incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and cooked with the kind of care you can taste in every bite. Beyond the food, the people here make the experience even better. Happy this Texas-style BBQ operation is recognized in the Michelin Guide. *FRIENDLY ADVICE* Get there early to secure the desired package while supplies last. I didn't go to pick up our meal, but my Fiance stopped by their parked trailer setup and had high regards for it. She mentioned the couple of fire pits and tables to warm up by and eat. She couldn't get there until after work on a Friday, so unfortunately, no ribs left for us. We opted for a full pound of chopped brisket and Mac n Cheese shells & coleslaw (comes with some toast and pickled onions & cukes). I have dreams about these beef ribs, so tender and flavorful. Shell noodle in mac n cheese is unique for this area. The service is a little slow if you go just plan to wait for it for a while or do online pre-ordering, its worth it, its that much better. They have really built up around the truck with covered tables and bathrooms. Even had a little beer cart out there. The cost was on point for the usual things and I would pay whatever they want for those beef ribs and do because they are the only place at least around the have them everyday they are open. They have a cold mashed potatoe salad which I thought might be weird but its amazing!

Fueled by our intense craving for authentic BBQ, we discovered their Facebook page this morning, showcasing delectable images and a prestigious 2025 Michelin recognition, which ignited our culinary enthusiasm and prompted us to make the trip. And, the experience was absolutely out of this world. Cant find this level of BBQ anywhere around here that we’re aware of. if you are wanting damn good bbq that is on the new southern Michelin guide, look no further than Dampf Good BBQ. there is a lot of good BBQ around here, but this place really took my breath away. my friends and I split the Carolina Trinity which had bacon brisket, pulled pork, and spare ribs with three sides (we chose the roasted veggies, mac & cheese, and beans) and when I tell you everything I put in my mouth melted, I mean it. my personal favorite was the bacon brisket. also, the tray came with bread, pickles, and onions and those also were all so tasty. we got there at 10:55 and they open at 11 and there was already a modest line of hungry people. the service was quick and friendly. they were patient and personable and made the tastiest food. the entire time we were in line, we were
