Customer Reviews
Love this place. My wife and I randomly decided to go hear and so glad we found it. All you can eat and the quality wasn't cheap sushi / sashimi either. They even have waygu with the AYCE option
I am unsure where did those 5 stars reviews come from. We eat Japanese food all the time and unfortunately this is by far the worst tasting, agreed by all of us who were there. The restaurant smelled like spilled soy sauce when we went in and the tables were sticky. The server was sleepy. The fish was burnt and noodles were hard. Chicken breast meats were hard and dry and nothing felt right. Only the tempura was good. Even with a discount we won't be back. We left hungry as the food was not up to par and we didn't finish them. The lunch buffet has a lot of restrictions as well.
Delicious food - tempura is perfection, chicken and pork cooked perfectly - soup is warm and filling - and the salad is fresh with dressing seasoned nicely. This was my first visit with a friend who’s a regular. He had AYCE and I tried several dishes a la cart. Service was spectacular and we always had drink refills and he tried lots of sushi dishes! The interior is very clean and authentic. We arrived about 5pm and it was great to beat the dinner rush. Just FYI, when you enter, the sushi chef makes a loud vocalization and it scared the daylight out of me lol
We tried this place because of a limited time lunch special that was going on. Most all of the dishes were excellent, only a few were meh. The miso soup, salmon skin salad, mackerel, garlic tuna, baked green mussels, and yellowtail were all top-notch! The only things I didn't care for was the calamari, with the wrong type of breading and way too much of it, and the shrimp shumai, which only had one teeny tiny little shrimp on top of a rather large shumai. Service was excellent, fast and friendly by Chelsea. Very nicely decorated interior with a few televisions around showing what looks like cooking. There was pleasant music playing in the background, maybe just a bit too loud. The bathrooms were clean and pleasant. We are very glad we came to this restaurant!
One of the best Japanese food I’ve ever had. I’m from Brazil and it’s so good we came twice in same week. Thanks Chelsie and Jeni and all the subhuman for that amazing experience. I will never forget.
