Dairy Queen (Treat)

Small Dairy Queen located inside the grocery store. Only seems to be open in the late afternoon and weekends due to all the employees being school age. Decent ice cream though. Typical of any Dairy Queen. They do have a small food menu as well Update: PERMANENTLY CLOSED

The older workers aren't always pleasant and courteous. Odd hours. You don't really ever know if they will be open. Update: Dairy Queen, inside Khourys Market, closed last fall (22). No one seems to know if they will open again. They often ran out of supplies; so if they open again, which we hope they will, we also hope it will be managed better.

They recently closed this location. So before they closed I took my family to get a final treat while it was open. It was absolutely disgustingly dirty!! I didn't notice at first because I was looking at the menue then after I ordered I started looking around and was like maybe we shouldn't have got anything how bad it was. They went from register to serving food without hand washing too. But I will miss having it local. Because usually it was clean and well kept.

Went there for a shake during the summer, their hours were until 5 PM. 5 PM? Then they extended to 7...7 PM? I eat dinner at 6. Goodness. Other than that, the service was all right, two teenagers running the place. The ice cream was low quality, I didn't feel it was thick like other locations and melted quickly when handed to us. I would say average to mediocre all the way around.

Clean, new, friendly service; but the first time out of over 100 over 10 years or so, they could not make a the BANANA SPLIT BLIZZARD I tried to order "Not on the menu". It's been off the menu for years I gather but every other Dairy Queen from Texas to Indiana to Nevada and California has been able to. So just a bit disappointing, but will go back (and try again) with the photo and recipe I found on a DQ website. :)
