Nice diner with great service and good coffee. Husband ordered Wild West Scramble, basically the works, described as "Bacon, sausage, ham, bell pepper, onions, and pepper jack cheese scrambled with two eggs, served with hashbrowns and toast." All of the breakfasts looked delicious. But we were fortunate to be there when breakfast and lunch were both being served. I ordered the unique sandwich which was over-the-top delicious: "Golden Gate Our signature sandwich – turkey, tomato, avocado, red onion and jack cheese on parmesan and red pepper crusted sourdough." Wasn't sure about the sourdough bread but it was perfect, grilled in butter and cheese, although I didn't see any red pepper in it (which was fine with me). If you're in town, definitely try this place out! This is a nice café with some fancy touches. There is a reason it is scored so high on this platform. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Place is clean. There are some minor maintenance issues like a water-cooler outside that has plastic flapping in the breeze, but seats are comfortable.

Wow, who knew such a great place was only steps away from our hotel. My husband, love him endlessly search’s for places that may be able to feed me as I have significant restrictions. Today he found @thegriddle ! From the moment we stepped in to paying for our meal - this place was HOPPING and the staff were energized, helpful and careful with my food prep. Husband had an egg white only omelet with veggies, sourdough and hashbrowns. The omelet was the best he has had anywhere. Well cooked, not over seasoned, and good portions of veggies with a balance of cheese to veggies. Always a delightful time visiting The Griddle!! I've been stopping in since I was 8 or 9 as we'd travel across the country from California to Wisconsin & back. I've since brought my daughters! Food never disappoints! Excellent staff. Highly recommend if you're traveling through make a pit stop! You won't be disappointed!

Excellent place for breakfast! The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect to start the day with good energy. I’ll definitely be coming back.
