Dairy Queen (Treat)

Bought a chili cheese hot dog they asked if I wanted ketchup, mustard, and onion on it. I said no just onion so I ended up with a hotdog a bun and onion no chili or cheese. What a rip off was over five bucks.

We always stop at this DQ on our way back to Duluth after a stop at Gooseberry Falls. They have a parking lot, but if that is full, you can find street parking. Hot fudge Sunday, cherry sunday and chocolate and butter scotch dipped cones is our usual order. Orders taken at the outside 'burger/fry' window is very charming. Service was great and fast. There was a small crowd and they have a couple of tables for outdoor seating. Question: what's up with the reward notice for anyone whose report of theft leads to an arrest?

Have absolutely loved coming to the DQ in the summer as we have a cabin up here. This time when we went the young lady working the counter was sitting there on her phone texting which I understand that sometime people need a break but it is not a good look when people are standing right in front of you waiting to order and she won’t look up from her phone. When she notices us she moved her phone behind the napkin dispenser and proceeded to continue to text. Very disappointed in how she treated customers.

We visited on a Sunday evening on our last night of vacation in Two Harbors and the staff were awesome. I love the old school Dairy Queens where you have to walk up to the window to order. We got our treats quite fast and the whole family enjoyed everything we ordered.
