Dairy Queen (Treat)

I spend around $40 or more every time I visit this place. I always ask for cake crunch on the side, which has consistently been $1. This time, I was suddenly charged $3.00 for the exact same thing, with no clear explanation. The situation left me feeling singled out and unappreciated, which is especially hurtful as a loyal customer who regularly supports this business and spends a lot of money there. It’s very sad and disappointing to be treated unfairly after showing consistent support. Experiences like this really make you rethink where you choose to spend your money.

I ordered a blizzard with chocolate ice cream but the guy made it with vanilla and charged $9. He didn’t try to fix it and didn't remove the charge from the bill- He just stared at me like a deer in headlights with his mouth open. He did make the other 2 blizzards right but didn't give the right lids or a tray so there was a sticky mess by the time we got home. It was an expensive disappointment 😕

The first time I stopped recently, on a 85 degree day, the service was great! I ordered a vanilla ice cream soda; vanilla soda with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The next time I went last Saturday at night the girl didn't have the faintest idea of what vanilla soda was. Finally I got what I wanted but it was annoying. I understand if she was new But teach her. Otherwise I love their ice cream!

Listen up, people. Me and my sons came here for a sweet treat to end our Sunday night. However, there was one employee who deliberately ignored my sons and I. All the other workers were busy with their individual tasks, therefore, I did not want to interrupt them. The employee who was taking and making orders, looked at us, and went to the back. Once a different employee prompted her to attend to us, she made our orders. Although, this part isn’t her fault, these prices were sky high! Saddle Brook dairy queen charges SIGNIFICANTLY lower prices for such basic and small orders. Get some help.

I was shocked by the old school ice cream shoppe design of the building and thought it was closed down. But it wasn’t. Fully operational wonderful Dairy Queen. Got an Oreo Blizzard. A classic! The small size was pretty big. Next time I would get a kids size. Also surprised there were so many customers on a Monday early afternoon. The line kept moving ! I will return, since my doctor’s office is the area :). Would recommend!
