Dairy Queen (Treat)

I may have been the first customer of the day but my strawberry banana deliciousness was made perfectly and the young women working there was beyond nice to interact with. Clean location, lower than usual prices for a DQ, and great staff!! I'll stop back in before I leave town. Very well ran location and I recommend it.

The ice cream is delicious, and the staff is friendly, but they got my order wrong twice. Both times, I ordered a chocolate brownie extreme blizzard. The first time, they gave me brownie batter, and the second time, they gave me some sort of salted caramel flavor. I usually do takeout, so they put a lid on it, and I didn't notice the mistake until I got home. I thought the first mix-up was just a silly mistake, so I didn't check the order the second time. I can't believe they got it wrong again! Not sure if I'll go back, but I definitely suggest checking your order before leaving the store.

The blizzard I got was absolutely delicious - I want to make this clear before moving forward with my review. They should not be hiring teenagers. The kid who served me was horribly rude and it was quite obvious that he was miserable working there. I understand that kiddos need summer jobs but why make a customer feel horrible just for purchasing ice cream? It made me feel like I am not welcome there and have no desire to return unless I was desperate.

I stop here once a week and the workers are always friendly and the ice cream is delicious.

South of town locale on state route 111(monroe turnpike) the main North/South route through the center of town. Love their soft ice-cream treats. Outside seating available,in the middle of summer the line can stretch out the door,this is a neighborhood favorite summer hangout.
