Dairy Queen (Treat)

I can always rely on this Dairy Queen for a quick high quality sweet treat. Weather its a classic blizzard treat or a brownie cupfection I have always been happy with the taste and presentation. The savory bites are not to be missed here as well and you can trust to always get warm delicious chili dogs and pretzels. The parking lot is typically available, however it can be difficult to find a space not when there are shows at the theatre. Nevertheless, I have seen the staff here go above and beyond with customer care and look forward to stopping by again.

Nice and delicious Dairy Queen that's tucked along Central Ave. in Columbia Heights, Minnesota (next to Heights Theater and near the library). As of right now it's open from 12pm to 9:30pm, but they are hoping to extend hours earlier in the day. There is a lot of construction, which blocks access to the street you need to turn down. If you heading North on Central just turn into the strip mall, go up that street, turn right at the 4-way stop, then take your first right...that street leads you there...then you can park in the parking lot. If you're heading South on Central...you can either park across along the street and walk over, or turn by the Heights Theather and park there. They have some nice benches to sit on as well. I haven't been here in 6 years. It used to be friendly. Today the ice cream was great, but the service seemed a little racist. I ordered online to get the $.85 special. My Daughter also ordered one from her account. Then I ordered a bogo mini blizzard. When I got to the window, the young lady refused to give me my order until I stated the order exactly. I told her I ordered online and she acted like my order wasn't there. Another woman came and handed me my "already ready" order. I'm confused.

Stopped in a couple of days ago and was incredibly impressed by the woman I'm sorry I don't know her name but she was on the ball knew just what she was doing and I even told her I was very impressed;. I thought I found the best fast food place in town but I was wrong. The menu outside is a very confusing and it doesn't include single items. It has numbers which is either singles or a full meal at different prices. I chose to have the 2 chili cheese dogs which I think was number three on the menu but I could be wrong. The person working the register seem very confused and could not figure out how to ring up two chili cheese dogs as the menu said. The cash register person then call over the woman that I now know is the manager. He rang it up and charged me about 4.79 for both. At the time I

Fantastic patio in the back! I've driven by hundreds of times and had no idea there was parking in the back and a patio. Perfect place to sit and enjoy the nice Minnesota weather. The employees were kind and nice to us.
