Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

I found a Dairy Queen because I am fat and need ice cream lol. This place was pretty on point. I got the blizzard and they even turned the cup upside down for me. Huge points for that right there. Most places don’t even do that anymore. Glad they kept the tradition going.

Can not for the life of me figure out WHY to upgrade to cheese curds from fries is 4.69 when a side by itself is 5.69 !? I work at a restaurant and they don't even have premium sides that cost over 2.49 ! We spent 80$ tonight so far annd will have to spend more when finished with dinner (as we anre celebrating play off win tonight annd don't want to ride around for dessert) and overcharged 5$ for each meal ! We visited this Dairy Queen around Memorial Day in 2024. Our first impression was that it is an older Dairy Queen. The parking lot seemed adequate but could probably use a re-pave. The building itself seemed in fair condition, although it was quite obviously showing it's age. The front door seemed to be blocked and locked, with a sign directing folks to use the side entrance. Inside, the restaurant seemed adequately clean, although as I said, it its showing it's age. When we were there, Dairy Queen was running its lunch special, that we have seen before. It included a burger or chicken fingers, fries, drink and a small sundae for approximately $7 or so. Although the hours are narrow, so get there close to lunch time. We have had this lunch special before at other Dairy Queens in the past.

We just ordered and are a cone and a hot fudge sundae. DQ is skimping. The fudge is about half what it used to be and only on the bottom. The soft serve that used to be creamy and smooth now tastes more like ice milk, very wet and grainy. It’s terrible! Not the DQ soft serve we are accustomed to. Somehow they’ve changed the recipe and think we, the consumers won’t notice. Last time going to DQ

Clean and recently remodeled restaurant. Service was good. Chicken was what you’d expect for fast food Desserts are good I would recommend the hot fudge I would recommend the Reese’s blizzard I wouldn’t recommend the caramel I wouldn’t recommend the non-dairy dilly bar Single bathrooms Coke products
