Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Great Dairy Queen location – so happy to have one nearby! I recently moved to Cobalt and was thrilled to find out there’s a Dairy Queen just 5 minutes from my house. When I lived in Hartford, the closest one was about 20 minutes away, so this is a big win. The store is spacious, clean, well organized, and very inviting. We stopped by after a trip to pick up treats for myself, my husband, and our guests. As always, Blizzard treats are a hit and instantly make everyone happy. If I had one small suggestion to make it perfect, it would be to enjoy the filling throughout the Blizzard, not just at the very end. We arrived close to closing time for inside pickup (around 9:15 pm, with the lobby closing at 9:30 pm). I initially thought it closed at 10:00 pm based on Google, but that’s actually

This is a wonderful Dairy Queen. The staff here is terrific. One of the things that makes this particular Dairy Queen rise above so many of the others is the fact that it is a Grill & Chill, so it is open year 'round. The facilities are clean and well kept. The food here is done right. I like the chicken strips the best as far as actual food items go. The best treat is the Blizzard. My go-to is the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. but there are lots of other great options. Sometimes I'll check out the Monthly Blizzard for inspiration... You can see there is a lot of pride taken in putting out a quality product. Hats off to the owners... Nice place!

The young people working the counter are always so pleasant and professional. I've been coming here for years. The young lady who helped me with my son's anniversary ice cream cake was marvelous! They were nice enough to incorporate his wedding colors to an already made cake. I find them a little bit pricey, but in this economy, what isn't? It's clean and spacious with outdoor seating and the bathrooms have always been clean. I highly recommend! 1/2/25 Same 8/25 Their customer service is stellar! Thanks.

The inside of the establishment was VERY CLEAN. Definitely above standard from my perspective. The gentleman Jake was very knowledgeable about the Dairy Queen products. He didn’t get frustrated when I asked about a flavor that wasn’t available until a certain time period. I would use this place as or even Jake as the standard across the board.

Very clean and friendly staff. Food and ice cream was delicious and there is a lot of seating both inside and outside. It was incredibly nice to interact with the cashiers and have them be in a good mood, smiling. I hope management treats them well, as it was such a nice visit!
