Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Today I visited this location and ordered two dipped cones. I went through the drive-through to get them. There was a person in front of me ordering so I was waiting in my turn. I noticed the girl working the window handed him out two dipped cones. Apparently there was an issue because he refused them, and she took them back in the window. She must have had more problems with his order because it took him several minutes to get it straight to get his food. When I pull up to the window, I handed her my debit card for my payment what she took and then she handed in my card back in my receipt. Then she proceeded to hand me to the sloppiest ice cream conesI have seen in my 65 years of life. Apparently, the two dipped cones we have seen go out to window the much earlier we’re given to us. The Millsboro location was Packed on a Saturday night! Line out the door, the employee Nilynn was taking orders with a smile reguardless of how busy it was and all the workers in the back were working in SYNC, clean tables and floors. This is exemplary of what Dairy Queen should run like.

Loved those cheese curds! My first time having them was in Madison, Wisconsin. I thought I would never have them again since I live in Southern Delaware. Stopped at the Dairy Queen located in Millsboro, Delaware and guess what.... they had them on the menu. They were awesome tasting!

Trying to get in and out of this place is a nightmare. I mean complete disaster. There is usually a long line at the drive-through, especially on Tuesdays when they have the car club shows. It is cool to see if you like older cars. The food is definitely better than most fast food places, but be prepared to wait. The staff and / or service is hit or miss. I have experienced both. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, and I will return again.

I have just one problem. If a customer orders meals and ice cream and you make the ice cream ahead of time, put it in the freezer. Or just wait for the food to be almost done before starting the ice cream.
