Dairy Joy

This place has the best soft serve ice cream ever! The dipped waffle cone dishes are crunchy and delicious. I had black raspberry last week and it was a gorgeous purple color and tasted like summer. The gals at the window are always smiling and kind. Discount if you pay in cash 🙂

Disappointing they have only one table and some worn, rotting benches too low to ground on side of building for seating. Service was friendly enough, but presentation sadly lacking. I ordered Peanut Bar and was deflated when handed cold brown cylinder wrapped in cellophane. But husband enjoyed his soft serve maple and kids had no complaints about twist with sprinkles.

Black raspberry soft-serve, yummmm! Cute lil spot in front of Hannaford, they have a couple soft serve options and hard serve but I didn't even look at the flavors. They are cash only but there's an ATM right around the corner and a bank across the street. Reasonable prices, super quick, friendly too.

I was craving a banana split and dq was slammed so I stopped here. The girl working seemed confused. I asked if I could have the peanut butter ice cream and after checking she said they only had 1 scoop left so I said ok I'll have that and the rest vanilla. I only wanted strawberry and pineapple toppings and she asked what I wanted for the 3d toppings. 1/2 strawberry and 1/2 pineapple. She asked if I wanted whip cream and cherry (yes) and I let her know I was taking it home to eat (they used to have covers) For $9 and change I was a bit disappointed. Next time I'll definitely drive past here and go somewhere else

I'm counting down the days each summer until Dairy Joy opens. There is something so comforting and classic about a good outdoor ice cream shop that Dairy Joy nails. Love the soft serve, love their hard serve, and hate that I can't make a Hannies trip without stopping by to grab a treat🙃
