Papous Pita

My husband and I stopped by Papous Pita for a Friday date night, and it was fantastic! The owner greeted us so warmly and even gave us extra sauces and drinks on the house. Our gyros (lamb & beef for me, chicken for him) were fresh, flavorful, and packed full. The fries with oregano and salt were perfect (they were a special on that night). Easily our favorite Greek spot in Biddeford; we’ll definitely be back!

Amazing Greek place. I’ve been going for the past 5 years and the quality and service has never wavered. I’d go as far as to say they have the best Gyros in the entire state. With pita bread to die for. Tell your friends, there’s a best spot in Biddeford to get lunch.

A hole in the wall type of place, but oh so good. Fresh and fluffy pita, very fresh ingredients. Super friendly owner and staff. If you get a gyro to go, ask for sauce on the side. You will need napkins no matter what, it is worth it!

Papous Pita in Biddeford is unreal. If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful Greek food, this place nails it every single time. The Mediterranean chicken rice bowl is honestly the best thing on earth. It’s perfectly prepared, packed with flavor, and always fresh. The staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and everything tastes homemade. Easily one of my favorite spots in town.

The food is fresh, delicious, and the service is very friendly. The prices are good for the area they're in, and definitely worth it. I have stomach issues and often times can't eat foods in restaurants either due to high content in oil, spices and various reasons, but we ordered the Mediterranean chicken rice bowl and Papous chicken pita sandwich and both were delicious. The baklava was perfect. The layers were crunchy, and the syrup blended well with the taste, a lovely compliment. My wallet did complain that the prices, especially for the can of coke were too high, but for good food and the portion size it's really not that bad. Enjoy !!
