Lara is truly something special. From the very beginning, she was thoughtful, easy to communicate with, and completely tuned into our vision. She didn’t just bake for us — she created something that felt personal, beautiful, and seriously delicious. Our wedding cake and cupcakes were a huge hit. The lemon cake was super fresh, not overly sweet, and had just the right amount of citrus. It was light but still felt special, and it looked amazing too. The cupcakes were just as good. The champagne and strawberry flavor was really unique and refreshing, the peanut butter and chocolate was rich without being too heavy, and the lemon blueberry was bright and perfectly balanced. I cannot recommend Dachside Bakery & Lara enough!! Lara has made custom cookies for my wedding, a cake for my grandmothers 90th birthday, and several other cakes/cupcakes for me throughout the years. Everything Lara creates is beautifully decorated and is always SO delicious. Lara is fabulous to work with- always willing to offer flavor and decorating suggestions. Between Lara’s creativity, attention to detail, and talent, anything you order from her will be incredible. I have a severe nut allergy and Lara is accommodating and very careful with my order. Dachside Bakery has made several sets of birthday cookies and a birthday cake for me over the past couple years! Everything is always amazing! Both beautiful and delicious every time. The chocolate cake with peanut butter icing for my mom’s 60th birthday tasted incredible! 100 percent recommend for your next special occasion !

Where to start - Lara is an exceptional baker. She is so easy to work with and always comes through with exactly what I envision. Her creations are delicious and stunning! I have ordered cakes and cupcakes for years from Lara. The cakes serve our birthday and holiday celebrations of 12 people with ample leftovers. My family now has their favorites and looks forward to these special desserts.

Our wedding cake was absolutely amazing—truly even better than I could have imagined! Not only was it stunning to look at, with every little detail perfectly executed, but it tasted phenomenal.
