DaCapo of Litchfield

We were passing through Litchfield and a local recommended this. It seems to be mostly a fine family pizza place with other traditional Italian-American favorites. They were doing a busy takeout trade when we were there early on a Saturday evening. My fussy wife's salmon was not a very good piece of fish, and although the aioli sauce was on the side as requested, it was still dusted with black pepper. She picked around it and didn't eat much. It was served in a bowl atop an intimidating mound of beets and carrots that she immediately shoved aside. They brought some bread and butter, and there was oil on the table. I had such a wonderful experience at Da Capo Restaurant! The Da Capo Chips were an absolute highlight – perfectly cooked in a light batter flavorful, and addictive. I also ordered the Tuscany Salad, and the staff went above and beyond by graciously swapping out the mozzarella for feta. They didn’t just sprinkle it on, they gave me a generous block of creamy feta that made the dish unforgettable. We sat on the beautiful outdoor patio overlooking a beautiful array of flowers which created the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. Between the delicious food, the thoughtful service, and the lovely atmosphere, Da Capo’s is a spot I’ll definitely return to again when in town.

Very nice restaurant, friendly staff, great service. Drinks were great. Burrata ravioli and seafood pasta were delicious. Offers indoor and outside seating. Plenty of parking

Really nice place! Restaurant is beautiful and food was really good. Kids and husband ordered sea food pasta and it was outstanding, sauce was really flavorful. My chicken parm was ok, I was expecting more seasoning maybe, sauce was kinda blend. Overall a really nice experience.

Food is always phenomenal here. My wife loves the Buratta toast for an app and I love the chicken parm. I avoid dairy, so hence the photo of chicken parm with no cheese. Service was phenomenal, our waiter went above and beyond for us, even during a weekend rush hour!
