Our favorite girls lunch go-to! The food, atmosphere, staff - all so wonderful!! The vegan Caesar salad is divine, coupled with James' delicious salmon, which is a generous portion. Our server, Ryan, always makes our lunches extra special. The lively and always vivacious conversations with James makes it such a beautiful experience. This is our special place. ❤️

My husband and I, along with our five year old daughter, just had a great meal here. The staff, including the owner James, were beyond friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and the ambiance was lovely - upscale, but comfortable. Also, they were very accommodating to our little one. We are not locals, but will definitely come back to visit this gem!

West Street Grill was absolutely exceptional! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here, and everything from the food to the service was outstanding. The owner, James, was incredibly kind and personally checked on our table, making us feel completely at home. A wonderful dining experience, we can’t wait to return!

There is a fine place to have a fine lunch in middle Connecticut than the West Street Grill in Litchfield. The restaurant is cozy and well planned both for the food and the ambiance. The tables are spaced so you will never feel crowded or sharing a conversation with strangers at the next table because the decibel level is so loud so people have to shout over music to be heard. But come for the food not the furniture. There are multiple choices of traditional favorites (burgers, chicken, salads) or unexpected culinary highlights you might expect in higher priced restaurants. The peasant bread is a good way to start. Our waiter was competent and service was very attentive. Our food was delivered promptly and cooked to order. In all, we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful dinner at West Street Grill this past weekend. The food was refined and delicious. Everything was so fresh, especially the tomatoes that were as sweet as candy. The service was excellent. James, the owner, and his team were friendly and worked hard to ensure we had a great experience. We are so happy to have come across this restaurant offering farm-to-table cuisine and will definitely return when we are in the area again.
