Customer Reviews
Came by for lunch at around 1 PM on a Friday with three friends. The restaurant is a bit small, so we did have a wait a little bit for a table. Here is all the food we ordered to share: -Pate Chaud (pork puff pastry) - I don't love puff pastry but the pork filling was good Combination Rice Noodles (ground pork, pork belly, seafood) - this was recommended by some diners who were finishing up as we came into the restaurant, and I'm glad that they did. It had a lot of ingredients in it like pork, shrimp, fish balls, and squid. I liked that you can choose what type of noodles you want. In fact, they have 7 different noodles you can choose from! We went with the glass noodles. The fried wonton wrapper (?) with shrimp was a nice touch -Cha Gio (spring rolls with pork) - I would have preferred f
Was in town and have some time to waste so I went here after seeing that it opens at 8am which is a lot earlier than most spots that showed up in my search. The service was good and attentive, this spot is not big so it doesn’t seat much so it appears packed. A lot of people got their food togo but that day we sat down and ate. The best thing of what we ordered was the fried taro egg cake. Everything else left us wanting more. The nem rolls came with a peanut sauce which I’m not use to eating it like that as that’s more for spring rolls. The Hu tieu was lacking too even though I seen it a lot in the photos, I wouldn’t be buying that again, the flavor wasn’t there. The banh beo was the most disappointing of the bunch. It didn’t look or taste like the ones in Vietnamese, not even close. The
Great food. They had a special (banh canh with crabs) only on Sundays so we had that, the banh beo and bun rieu. Way too much food for two but it was delicious.
Small authentic spot, I was there to try banh mi and had my first cold cut with patte. It was very different from my usual of something like grilled pork, but fun to try. The meatball banh mi was a bit unusual, being just a loaf and meatballs/sauce on the side. It would be great if it came with the banh mi toppings. Bread is warm and flaky!
This place is seriously a gem. The pho was incredibly flavorful, comforting, and tasted like it was made with so much care. The broth was rich and perfectly balanced, the portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. You can tell a lot of love goes into the food here. On top of that, the service was kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to everyone. So grateful to have found this place!
