CZ SMOKEZ BBQ

First time trying this restaurant for food. I usually pass this place going to Walgreens for my Mom who stays across the street around the corner. Only reason I left off a ⭐ star is because of the char on the drumstick skin and the thigh bottom. I got the leg quarter plate with 2 sides cornbread was added for one extra dollar. Food taste home made cooked good I visited on 8-16-2025. If they keep a eye on the meat on the grill a little closer the food will be even better. Usually there is a line here delicious food I see why.

If you’re craving some good Southern cooking or barbecue, I highly recommend this spot. I’ve passed by it countless times and finally decided to stop — and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the two-meat plate, which comes with two sides and your choice of cornbread or bread. I went with the brisket and beef ribs, paired with mac and cheese, potato salad, and cornbread. Everything was delicious! The mac and cheese was a little salty for my taste, but the brisket and potato salad were absolutely my favorites.

the guy at the window was quite helpful for our first time. he was also right! everything tasted like it was home made from your grandma's kitchen. it was enjoyable - we got the catfish, and at that time we think it was fried with chicken or something but it didn't taste like fish. the batter was a bit off the mark but we loved everything else.

I was very disappointed. I ordered the quarter chicken with 2 sides and peach cobbler. The chicken was very dry and the only flavor came from the BBQ sauce. The cornbread was dry and tasted like it had been microwaved out of the refrigerator. The dressing was more salty than flavorful and my vegetables were straight out of a can. Lastly and most disappointing was the undercooked, unsweetened peach cobbler. My entire meal was heartbreaking. I had very high hopes. The customer service however, was excellent.

Great food, fast service, friendly staff! Did not know of this place until I saw it yesterday but I will definitely become a regular. The only problem is after eating this delicious food you may become sleepy 😂
