CxT Roasting Company - Campustown

So glad to see this new CXT location open. They have plenty of seating even at the bar. I tried the hot miel latte. It was delicious, steamed and prepared perfectly! Met the owner and she was extremely nice, had a great discussion about coffee. Sly is also extremely knowledgeable and they couldn’t have picked a better guy to run the coffee bar! I will definitely be back a latte☕️

CxT passes class with a ‘C’. Located in Campustown, where a Starbucks used to be, is a new extension to the CxT Coffee Roasting company. I’ve been patiently waiting for the day they opened to finally pop in and try their americanos. I’ve only ever had lattes from CxT so I was excited to try my tried-and-true espresso and water here. Emily ordered their Coconut Cookie Butter Latte and I got my usual plain black americano, iced. We had a long day ahead of us so I also ordered a blueberry bagel to stave off the appetite while we ran around Peoria for the afternoon. The person taking our order was very nice and courteous. The place wasn’t too busy and our drinks came out fairly quick. My americano was first and when I went up to grab Emily’s drink a few minutes later, the barista putting it

I love this coffee shop!! It is one of my new favorites in Peoria. The staff is so kind and they make incredible coffee and tea. My favorite is a classical americano and their citrus mint tea. Plenty of big tables to meet with friends, play a game, or work. And they have a few games on a shelf as well. I believe there is also chess on Sunday afternoons..which I hope to try sometime. It’s a great spot to meet with friends or focus on your own work. They also have great pastries and even açaí bowls now. 5 stars!!

Love CxT already and the new location does not disappoint! Fantastic staff. Solid coffee. We got a seasonal drink based on a recommendation from the barista and it was very good. Additionally, I got an order of the espresso and it was done perfectly. Excited to go to this location more!

I'm so happy this new location opened up. CxT already had an notable presence in the Peoria coffee scene -- providing an excellent product with outstanding consistency at their downtown Main Street and Keller Station location on the north end of town. Now, with the addition of the brand new Campustown branch, the neighboring Bradley University, Uplands, and West Peoria communities are in for a treat. Conveniently placed, this new location provides the same great products that I've come to know and love from CxT in a fresh, clean, bright, but also cozy setting that is perfect for college students to study and get together, University faculty/staff to meet and discuss, and really for anyone who is in the mood to enjoy a quality cup of your choice prepared by the friendly and fun staff here.
