Custard King

What a great place for frozen treats and baked goods! They have an extensive menu that is sure to have something for everyone. I ordered the Jester's Gelati, which is flavored ice layered with custard. It was delicious - and the portion was just right. I would definitely visit again if I was in the area. Fast, friendly service, too. There were outside picnic tables - we appreciated being able to sit down under a covered area to cool off while eating our frozen treats.

We had a great experience, granted we went the weekend after labor day. There was only 1 other couple there, so we got served immediately! The ice cream was super good the staff was friendly, and the prices are reasonable for shore pricing. There are clear pictures for everything so you know what you're getting. I had the peanut butter perfection sundae, and my husband had a medium soft serve swirl cone with jimmies. We also got a frozen banana to take home which was also delicious. The woman behind us ordered a non dairy ice cream. I'm curious to try that next time! We will be back.

Always wanted to try a blue raspberry dipped cone. Didn’t disappoint. Price was okay, staff was great. Only thing negative I can say is the mosquito problem over that way. Mosquitoes were absolutely horrible all weekend in the area and the worst encounter of my weekend was standing in line at the custard king. So put on bug spray or dress appropriately just in case. But don’t let that discourage you. This place is king for a reason!

We ordered an Oreo blast ice cream cake for a birthday. It was sooooooooo good. I’ll never eat carvel again. Great customer service too. The cake easily serves 10-12. Plus, they customized the top of it and some of the proceeds go to CHOP

Love their ice cream and pup cups. Tried their made to order ice cream cakes for the first time and they were phenomenal! And for a great cause. Not to mention the family is so nice and helpful!
