Curry Leaf Restaurant

So happy to have a new Indian restaurant in the area! We shared the chicken thali and the samosas and everything was delicious, we especially loved the samosas and the tomato and tamarind chutneys they came with. We also really appreciated that they pan fry everything in ghee, even the samosas! It’s a small restaurant with limited seating but they were busy with lots of takeout. Can’t wait to go back and try more!!

Congratulations to the new Curry Leaf location! Delicious food with fresh and authentic flavors! We ordered the chicken thali and samosas for dinner, and then had payasam rice pudding and chai for dessert. We met Shyni and her daughter, a very kind and friendly family. They took good care of us, and we left feeling warm and full. It was like a truly home-cooked meal! We will come back again! ❤️

This place is a true gem! The flavors are subtle and layered and you can taste the care in each and every dish and condiment. As someone who eats a plant-based diet, I was delighted to find that vegetarian dishes here are a feature rather than an afterthought. The owner Shyni is a warm and charismatic presence and her staff are attentive and generous. I am so happy that this restaurant exists in Anacortes and I will be coming here regularly. If you come, you will leave happier than you arrived, I promise!
