Curry Leaf Cuisine of India

We visited on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The ambience was pleasant, but the restaurant was surprisingly empty. We ordered Garlic Naan, Mutton Rogan Josh, and Chicken 65. Overall, I’d say everything was average. The Garlic Naan was undercooked from the inside and felt very doughy. The Chicken 65 was just okay—there was a lot of artificial coloring, it was overly tangy, and the chicken texture was inconsistent (some pieces hard, some soft). Not a fan. The Mutton Rogan Josh looked appealing, but the gravy was extremely tangy—the sourness completely overpowered the dish. While the mutton was cooked, it lacked depth of flavor and the meat felt chewy. Curry Leaf is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to. The food is full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The naan is soft and delicious, and every curry I’ve tried has been amazing. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. Definitely my go-to spot for Indian food!

We had an underwhelming experience when we visited. The place is fairly empty but no one came to attend our table until we went to them and asked them to take our order. The food is extremely disappointing except the kadai paneer and naan. The staff are friendly though.

We had mango colada in drinks an it was really awesome! We had chilli paneer, paneer tikka masala, butter naan and Tandoori roti. I had one of the best Naan in the US. Chilli paneer was a bit sour as compared to hot. Paneer tikka masala was also not that spicy we had asked 5 out of 6 spiciness.

The overall experience was average. The Chicken 65 was overcooked and extremely dry, making it inedible beyond the first two pieces. On the positive side, we enjoyed the Kadai Paneer and Garlic Naan. Although the staff offered to replace the Chicken 65, we declined. The restaurant was fairly empty, and it featured an open kitchen.
