Curry Donut

I had to travel to Wilkes-Barre for an appointment. When I checked Google maps, I saw this place was next door. Mom N Pop restaurants, bakeries, and other businesses are so much fun and truly the heart of the community. Bakeries especially are hard to find....so I had to check this place out. I was NOT NOT disappointed. A large variety of store-made original donuts and pastries. Fruity iced, vanilla cream, Jelly, apple crumb, strawberry crumb, oreo, cotton candy....lots of sweet choices. Free donut with purchase of a large coffee. Very friendly staff. I chatted with the owner for a while. It used to be a Mister Donut before Dunkin bought that franchise and rebranded them. Vintage feel in the dining area.

I stopped in to buy some chocolate glazed donuts to smoke on our Big Green Egg for a local demo. The woman who was working the counter was so amazing. By herself she handled everything like a pro. I go into the chain and wait for one of five people to even make eye contact. The donuts didn’t need any help, they were great before we added brandy barrel smoke.

Went for the first time after the wife forgot to get milk for the coffee. Found out that for 2.75 you get a large coffee and a donut. I dont normally eat sweet things in the morning. I do now. 🍩

I always here to get coffee. Went in before they closed and got coffee. When I asked for the included doughnut the lady said they stop serving doughnuts at 7:30 PM even though she had a cart full of doughnuts next to her. She said they were for the morning. Disappointed since they charge you the same price.

I absolutely love their chocolate angel donuts when available. The other donuts are good and always fresh. A dozen of donuts is still very reasonable. The staff is always very friendly. The shop is the original that I remember as a kid but clean.
