Pre-COVID, Curry Corner was very good. I especially loved their curry dishes, such as Butter Chicken, Chicken Curry, Chicken Korma, etc. But right now, the overall food quality has gone down significantly. The Butter Chicken no longer has that flavorful taste to it. Palak Paneer tastes slightly bitter. Samosa is still big in size and is spicy, but texture is somewhat soggy and tastes a little stale. Kheer is now made with condensed milk, instead of regular milk; hence tasting super sweet. I would not order from this restaurant again.
I had the all-you-can-eat buffet lunch a couple weeks ago and was please with the food until I asked for a container to take my leftovers home. The owner started shouting at me and said that I have to pay the buffet price $21 to take anything home. Ouch, he came back a few minutes later and gave me a container but had already left me with a VERY bitter taste of resentment. I thought I might try next time to do the take-out buffet which I tried today. I was ready to pay at the cashier when the person came back with a VERY SMALL, less than 12 oz tray for the buffet that would hardly hold 2-3 very small portions of the 10-15 items on the buffet. I laughed and walked out, never to return again. The food is fresh and good but it is a real shame when the service does not match the food. They sta
Curry Corner is my new favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. The moment you walk in, the aroma of spices welcomes you. I ordered the Chicken Biryani and it was absolutely perfect. The rice was fluffy and the chicken was so tender. My friend had the Pepperoni Pizza and said it was the best she's had in years. The fusion concept here is brilliant and executed perfectly.
I cannot say enough good things about the Garlic Naan here. It is buttery, soft, and has the perfect amount of roasted garlic. We ordered it with the Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza, which was a wild combination but worked so well. The staff is always smiling and the service is fast. This place deserves all the praise it gets.
I’m a biryani connoisseur, and I can confidently say the Lamb Biryani here is top-tier. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the rice was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. It came with a generous portion of raita. We also ordered the Keema Naan, which was stuffed full of spiced minced meat. If you love authentic flavors, this is your spot.
