Culver’s

I had a great dinner experience at Culver’s. I loved that they brought the meal to my table. I ordered the Waleye, which was amazing, and really a huge portion. The crust was perfect. Fries and slaw were also both great. I had a dish of chocolate ice cream to finish it off. I love the fact that you can order the ice cream from your table, and they bring it to you. All of this and they do not request a tip! Great place!

I usually don’t review fast food spots unless there’s something bad to say, but Culver’s actually surprised me. The burger was really good. It had nice flavor and that crispy edge like a Smashburger, but I gotta say the patty was a little too thin. Still tasted great though, and the bun was soft and fresh. Now the ice cream, that’s where they got me. They had $2 pints, so I grabbed a few. Creamy, rich, and just flat-out good. Definitely worth it. Overall, Culver’s impressed me more than I expected. Good food, decent price, and I’d go back for sure. It’s a solid hamburger choice compared to other fast food places.

The service and atmosphere of the place were alright. Nothing bad, so all around decent. The food was atrocious though. When I bit into my burger I felt something hard and inedible. When I opened up the burger, I found the piece of paper they use to separate cheese on my burger. The food might have been alright but that alone upset me and made the food horrible. I will not return to a place who has employees that are too lazy to properly prepare simple items. Making sure your food consists of edible ingredients should be a basic standard that Culver's isn't meeting. Avoid this place. Spend your money elsewhere.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Culver’s in Meridian. My wife and I came in for lunch on Sunday just after 1:00 p.m. with a couple of friends and their 4- and 6-year-old kids. The restaurant was busy, but when it was time to order we were greeted by Selah, who welcomed us with a warm smile. It was the kids’ first time at Culver’s and they weren’t quite sure what they wanted. Selah was incredibly patient and kind, asked all the right questions, and made sure the kids got exactly what they wanted. We ordered a couple of dishes of custard for the kids to enjoy after the meal. They had seen a dessert come out topped with M&M’s and asked if they could have some on their custard as well. I can only find a decent tenderloin sandwich in Iowa - at least until I discovered the pork loin sandwich at Culver's. It is very close to the real German schnitzel served in Iowa. I also loved the raspberry sauce served on their custard. I have to say, though, that I will skip the French fries. There are other menu items that I am looking forward to trying.
