Crosswinds Cafe

The food was really good and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The location is unique, it’s right at the airport with a perfect view of the runway. Watching the planes take off and land while eating made the experience even more special. Definitely worth a visit!

While driving down 81, I noticed the advertisement for this cafe with a plane logo. My son loves airplanes and I am so glad I looked this cafe up! It’s located on the second floor of the terminal at this small airport. There were 5 US Air Force cargo planes outside of the window. We even got to see a helicopter land and take off again right outside our window! The food was great and the service was top notch. My son loved the location of this cafe and is looking forward to coming back!

To start you're right next to the airport which is incredible. A really awesome view to see planes coming and going. The food was out of this world good. This was one of the best Reuben's I've ever had (and I am without a doubt a Reuben guy) with the cinnamon sweet potato fries and cream cheese icing. My better half got the tuna melt with salted and old bay fries and it's hands down a 10/10. Not only would I recommend this awesome spot I plan on visiting frequently. I can't wait to try everything on the menu.

The food was delicious. The wedge salad was HUGE, the club was amazing, and the soup was so flavorful! Staff was very attentive and friendly even after I dumped my chips all over the floor. Haha Oh! And the prices were very reasonable! Best lunch/brunch spot in the area!

This restaurant is a long‑time staple in the community, and many local customers clearly enjoy it and visit often. However, the atmosphere wasn’t very welcoming for new customers who aren’t familiar with the place or its routines. A restaurant should feel pleasant and inviting for everyone, both regulars and first‑time visitors. Creating a more friendly environment would make the experience better for all guests.
