Crossroads BBQ Pit & Pub

This place is a joke. Ordered the smoked barbecue chicken which is listed on the menu as " a half smoked barbecue chicken" cost: $19.95. What I got: 2 small chicken breast that look boiled and drown in barbecue sauce. Probably totaling in 5 ounces of meat. Also, ordered tiger prawn scampi for $23.95. Described as "5 large tiger prawns sauteed with garlic, shallots, fresh lemon, butter & chardonnay" what I got: 5 average sized shrimp. Profit margin has got to be 500%. So overall $45 not including tip for probably $8 worth of food that wasn't as advertised or prepared well. Id avoid crossroads.

It's a very "mid" or "okay" restaurant. It's fine if you need some food in a pinch, and don't want to drive over to Bend. There don't seem to be a ton of different dining options in Prineville, which is understandable due to location. This particular restaurant seems to have been around a while, and the atmosphere is fine, very small-town. There were a lot of flies at our table. Prices aren't terrible, but the food just isn't impressive or satisfying. Menu is typical for American food and barbecue, but after my group tried a few different items, we just didn't think anything tasted that nice.

I have been here twice now , one for drinks and apps and sat in the bar and another for breakfast, Bar ambiance 4 star Restaurant 3 Bar waitstaff 5 Restaurant 1 Apps 5 Star Breakfast in restaurant 1 Star Drinks in bar were good and service was prompt and attentive wait staff. Breakfast in restaurant food was bland, eggs under cooked, biscuit was microwaved and a rubber puck, ham was chewy , tri tip was basically a steak um that was rubberized, plates were ice cold, toast was cold , my coffee cup was empty more than full ( only 1 refill was offered and that was when they brought the food that sat in the window for 15 mins) waitress acted like we were an inconvenience and she was not friendly, shoved the bill at me when she brought it , instead of placing it on the edge of the table in the

We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated in booth by the window. My favorite thing was we were ask "is this seated ok for you?" Best service! Then, as we looked at the menu and observed our surroundings, we looked at the astetics of the restaurant. Great atmosphere! We got our appetizer, and it was hot and delicious. Things were looking great so far... Then our main meal came and things fell off there. I won't go too much into detail because everything else was awesome. I would recommend this place but not the BBQ.

I really like there chef salads I’ve gotten them a few times. They usually come with ham turkey bacon salad boiled eggs cheddar cheese Swiss cheese and tomatoes. I ordered one to go tonight I had never got one to go. When I went to pick it up the bag felt like it had nothing in it so I opened it. It was the worst sald I had ever seen and no cheese no ham and no eggs. I told the girl I had paid at the register that it was discussting and I wanted my money back she said ok gave me my money and I left.
