Customer Reviews
Locals said everything they served was good. I ordered a patty melt and pickle fries. The patty melt was decently good, but the pickle fries. (Which wasn't even fries, it was fried pickles) Was way overcooked. It's like they left it in the fryer for extra 3 minutes. Fried pickles were un-edible. I've had fried pickles many time's, they are my favorite. But, these are the worst I've ever had 😕
The place is old, dirty, they put sheets of paper on the table because the tops of the table are permanently sticky. Some food was good some was ok. The breakfast burritos are great. Sunday buffet is plentiful but the typical happens, the customer drops the spoon on the dirty floor, picks it up and throws back on the food. Customer picks the food off the serving tray and then thrown back on the tray when they decide they dont want it. On the positive note, They serve hot syrup, hot caramel for cinnamon rolls. They offer omelets to order. Typical buffet stuff goes on. There is a big variety of food to pick from. On non Sundays the service can be slow because they are busy.
Only one waitress I felt bad for her had to deal with a lot. The food was sooo good though. I had a burger and the fries were so crunchy and yummy. My parents had the meatloaf and said it was flavorful and they said the sides were good. We got giant portions as well 🥳
Awesome fast customer service. Great locals hanging out in the restaurant area. Breakfast was great but kind of pricey but portion size makes up for it. Homemade pies and local specialty lemonade for sale. Art work on the restaurant walls are made by visiting guests. Which are totally amazing.
Dining room is out-dated but the food is very good and the service is friendly. I had the sirloin steak, chicken tortilla soup, and ice cream. It was all surprisingly great. Thick filet. Nice stop.
