Customer Reviews
I’m not from here, and this is a completely unbiased review. This is the best pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was both light, crispy, and chewy at the same time. The cheese was better than I’ve had at fancy imported cheese pizza places. We had one wild mushroom and one a mix of toppings. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. And quick service. Wish I had one in my hometown.
CROSSCUT: The Only Slice of Heaven You Need in Colorado! (Warning: May Cause Pizza Addiction) 🍕🏔️ Forget trekking the Rockies; the real adventure in Nederland, Colorado, is finding a seat at CROSSCUT PIZZERIA & TAPHOUSE! This place is serving up slices that are so good, they should come with a Dangerously Delicious warning label. The vibe here is everything you want in a mountain escape: lively, laid-back, and packed with charm. You feel like you've walked into the coolest local party in a giant, cozy cabin. You'll be breathing in that wood-fired goodness and soaking up the energy so much you'll forget what you were worried about five minutes ago. But the PIZZA is the true headliner. This isn't just a crust; it's a work of art! It’s thin, light, and perfectly kissed by the fire. I'm pr
First time visitors while out for a mountain drive while on vacation. I like how there are different places to sit from outside on the patio with your dog, to an outside high top, to an inside bar, to multiple places within the inside. It made conversation easy even though the place was very busy. Kelvin, out server, was very friendly and chill. We enjoyed a 14%ABV stout and some delicious pizza. I'm always nervous my pizza will be burned in a wood stove. Crosscut did a great job cooking this to perfection. They are willing to make any substitutions and offer build your own. It's a generous 12 inch pizza. Plenty of appetizer options & salads. I'm bummed we didn't try their elk meatballs and will have to go back for that! Definitely would recommend. Affordable, delicious and quaint.
Wholeheartedly recommend - good selection of drinks and pizza options for every palate. Came here for dinner while vacationing with a large group of friends during late evening - after a small wait (we stopped at a saloon across the street) we were seated and promptly served by very friendly staff who helpfully answered all of our questions about the menu. Our group shared the tortellini salad, mini caprese, and citrus marinated olives. I ordered a Spicy Roni with extra crispy crust and a side of the chili honey - can wholeheartedly recommend if you like a little bit of heat! (If you want to go hotter - fresh peppers are available as a topping and really amp the heat) They were easily able to accommodate members of our group with dietary restrictions and made several good recommendatio
I am a first generation Italian who has had the benefit of trying numerous styles of pizza in numerous cities and subregions, and I have to say that Crosscut makes some of the very best Neapolitan pizza Katherine and I have ever had! Katherine’s son Andrew who was with us also stated that it was possibly the best pizza he has ever had! The Spicy Roni, Tartufo e Funghi, and Mario were all excellent! Loved loved, loved the pecorino Romano and fresh oregano on the Tartufo! It’s impressive that they ferment their crust for three days. The average Neapolitan pizza dough has to be additionally cold fermented for at least 24 hours. The beer and wine selection was very very good.
