Crispy's Chicken & Seafood

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and it’s one of those places I’ll always come back to. I usually order the three-piece fried catfish with fries, and it never misses. You bite into it and it gives—crunch first, then the inside opens up hot, flaky, and juicy. It’s the kind of catfish you keep thinking about after you’re done. I always get the jalapeño peppers too. Every time. One bite and the juice pops, your mouth wakes up, then the catfish brings it all back together. It just works. They also have fried chicken, but the catfish is my go-to. It’s a small, family-run spot that’s been around for years, and the people there are always kind. If you’re thinking about trying it, do it. Order the catfish. 😏😋

Unlike Raising Canes, you can smell the flavor.. like cavemen discovering fire, Raising Canes fans will finally discover what salt and pepper is.. unlike Raising Canes, you actually get the portions and taste you paid for. Now look, this place ain't no Raising Canes and their sauce, but this place has deliciously seasoned food. I ordered their combo #6, 4 tenders, seasoned crinkle cut fries, a drink (I got coke), and a small cup of gravy. They cooked this up straight up fresh from the fryers - I had to wait for it to cool down! First impressions upon opening my to-go container: - The tenders are absolutely enormous - The fries are extremely well seasoned with what seems to be some light chili salt - Tenders have a satisfying deep fried crispy crunch (true to its name). - The bread roll

This place absolutely blew my mind, they have some of the best fried chicken and fried catfish in the North Fort Worth area, I'd say better than Babes to be honest. Chicken was juicy, hot, and flavorful, and the fried catfish was tender, flaky, and the cornmeal batter was also seasoned to perfection. Steer clear of KFC or even Chicken Express and hit this place, you will not be disappointed, fast paced lines for such high quality food. This is my new favorite spot going forward. Only complaint is we didn't get our hush puppies with our order, but that's not enough to garner anything lower than a 5 star. Oh, fried okra and corn nuggets were also fantastic.

Been here since I was a wee little baby and the quality of the chicken has remained the same for 22 years. I have been away for college and came back for a few days and having this chicken really reminded me how much I took it for granted. The chicken is clearly well seasoned and never dry. Truly an excellent place to get some good crispy fried chicken.

Very good fish and shrimp. A nice place to dine in at if you don't mind the slight smell of cigarette smoke. The menu is a little bare, but they offer À la carte for everything. They offer take out in nice boxes and bag, but the wait can be pretty long. The shrimp were fantastic, easily sliding right out of their tail.
