Customer Reviews
I have been to many pho restaurant and hands down this restaurant has the best broth I ever tasted. It seems the bone must have been simmer for days to get this type of flavor. The meat is very tender and the large size is humongous. Out of town visiting but definitely will be back. On a side note, bring cash as they do not take any form of electronic payment.
Cleanliness: 0/10 Service : 0/10 Food : 3/10 Ambience: 0/10 Place was dirty, service was poor, food was “small-town” minded, and ambience was abhorrent. I’ve tried many “hole-in-the-wall” places in my life and this one was an absolute letdown. To start, the spoons had a rancid smell, the booths had hollowed seats with duct tape, the venue was littered and dirty upon entrance, they only take cash in 2026, no service after initial order, the pho and spicy beef noodle soup was bland, and the entire atmosphere appears to cater only to locals who either don’t know better or never left Haltom City. The only takeaway was that I didn’t get food poisoning. Against better judgment, I decided this place was worth visiting due to recommendations that clearly fell flat. If anyone has an ounce of stan
Update: I came back again, ordered #3 again. Fatty brisket had more fat this time, noodles were al dente. Still planning to come back. As low as $8 for pho in 2025? That’s awesome. I ordered the #3. Pho was not as salty as other pho shops that charge more, but it was decent and portions were good. Noodles were softer rather than al dente. They do close early though, like 6pm. Yes I will come back.
The pho was flavorful and comforting, with a really good broth and fresh ingredients. My only small concern was the meat portion—it felt a bit limited—but considering the price, it was still fair. Overall, it’s a solid spot for pho and I’d come back again.
This is the oldest restaurant in Haltom City. I remember visiting here back in 1990 when I was taking a course at Texas Wesleyan. The pho is excellent, and I believe the soup has a unique, delicious flavor that has stood the test of time. Although the service can be a bit slow, it’s worth the wait once you taste the pho. I always like to come back whenever I have the chance. I highly recommend trying the pho here!
